ABOUT THE NATIONAL BUILDING AND SURVEYING ALLIANCE
The National Building and Surveying Alliance (NBSA) was formed on the 26 November 1999. The combined membership of the NBSA member Institutes is now almost 30,000.
The NBSA is a cooperative formed for the primary purpose of providing the members of each Institute with the best possible service and benefits. Additionally, the NBSA provides a vehicle for joint activities and mutual cooperation between Institutes.
The NBSA is not a lobby group. Areas of cooperation beyond member services include education, professional development and member publications.

Changes to the listed benefits and additions or deletions of products and services may occur from time to time and conditions may apply to some offers. Members should check with their Institute if they have queries on the availability of any listed items or if they require the latest changes to the scheme.
Who can use this scheme
This discount scheme is only available to financial members and staff of the appropriate Institutes. It is not available to non-members who may work with a member and is not transferable to non-members.

Your NBSA member Institute office receives professional, business, government and industry journals, magazines, newsletters and reports.
These are mostly held in the Institutes’ libraries and may be provided to members on loan or articles may be copied as required and mailed or faxed to you.
This service is often provided free to members of the various Institutes but check with your Institute as some charges may be payable on certain items.
Many NBSA member Institutes can provide you with free office facilities and a place to relax when visiting Canberra. These facilities may include a desk, computer, photocopying, library and tea coffee.
